A shooting has reportedly taken place at the Hyatt hotel in Clearwater, Fla., on Monday evening.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that the Hyatt in Clearwater Beach was locked down after shots were fired.

It’s unclear if there were any injuries in the incident.

Sources told 10 News that several people are in custody, with one suspected shooter on the loose.

The shooter might have left the scene in a green Ford Taurus headed South of Clearwater Beach.

Clearwater Police described the incident as an “active shooter incident at the beach.”

CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. -- Clearwater Beach police say they are searching for a suspect after a shooting at the Hyatt Regency parking garage and have closed off the bridge to the beach to traffic.

The city of Clearwater Public Safety department in an email confirmed Monday that there was an active shooter that police are pursuing.

Several local media reports say police are investigating at three separate sites.

A police news conference is set for 9:15 p.
