Ciara, the singer, recently announced she’s pregnant.
The 28-year-old confirmed with ABC that she will be expecting a child with fiance, the rapper Future. It will be her first child.
“A rumor no more! @Ciara, shows off her baby bump! #TheView,” wrote The View’s on its Twitter account. She made the announcement on the show.
“Congrats to my girl @ciara so happy for your bun in the oven,” Jenny McCarthy tweeted.
In October, Ciara confirmed that she’s engaged.
“Today Has 2 Be Like One Of The Sweetest Days Of My Life! #TheBestBirthdayEver,” she wrote via Twitter. “If I’m Dreaming I Don’t Want To Wake Up..Aaaaaahhh!!!:)
According to The Associated Press, representative for her confirmed the pregnancy later.
Ciara and 30-year-old Future have been dating for about a year, but a wedding date has not been set.
Ciara’s singles include “Goodies,” “1, 2 Step,” and “Body Party.”
She released her fifth self-titled album in 2013, and it features production work from Future--who has also worked with Rihanna, Miley Cyrus as well as Justin Bieber.
