Although many Chinese people are fooled by the Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda and believe that Americans are suffering more due to the pandemic, there are many people waking up from the lies.On April 14, Chinese state-run media outlet Beijing News, tweeted the following headline, ‘Unemployment Sweeping Across the U.S.A.’ The rest of the tweet stated that the unemployment rate has increased drastically in Los Angeles due to the CCP virus pandemic. Drone footage captured many citizens driving to specific places appointed by the government for food relief and vehicles lined up on the highway for many miles. The food relief program was very simple and included some grains, cereals, frozen chicken and one bag of oranges. The tweet was flooded with a lot of criticism such as “The CCP does not even give you the skin of the oranges, the U.S. gives Americans one big bag of oranges!” “The Americans are too honest! We are smarter. The unemployment here in China is zero because we don’t even record it!” “You have no right to criticize Americans because their government is giving benefits to unemployed people and their monetary benefits are more than our monthly wages!”
