A bus loaded with passengers rear-ended a truck on a Chinese highway on  July 17, killing nine people and injuring nine others, according to  Chinese state media.
  
  The crash took place at the Panjin section of Jingshen Expressway at 3:36 p.m., according to statements by Chinese officials. 
  
  The cause of the collision is still under investigation, according to China News Service. 
  
  The truck driver involved said he was driving in a regular speed lane at  60 to 70 miles per hour when his truck suddenly stopped, locking up  some of its wheels, and causing him to be rear-ended by a bus. 
  
  Initial police investigations showed no overloading in the accident.
