WASHINGTON—The 2010 USA Science & Engineering Festival is well received by children, some of whom shared their experiences with The Epoch Times.
“I love the robot,” said fourth grader Sandra Preniczky, referring to a robot that could dance and ask and answer questions.
The talking robot drew crowds at the Wilson Plaza in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 23-24.
Sandra’s friend Anne Wood, also in the fourth grade, commented on a magic presentation where baking soda and vinegar were used to make a rocket. “I liked that because it was creative science,” she said. “It was just amazing.”
She may have been referring to the Traveling Science Show which performed at the Wilson Plaza and drew even larger crowds on Oct. 23-24.
