A UPS tractor truck crashed on Interstate 88 on Tuesday, spilling out packages onto the Reagan Tollway, officials said.
The Chicago Tribune reported that the crash took place on I-88 at around 7:15 a.m.
Three people were injured and were sent to nearby hospitals.
Several lanes were closed down to pick up packages that were strewn about the roadway.
According to NBC Chicago, the truck was hit by a vehicle on the right and it was forced to swerve and crash into the cement median.
