Chewbacca jerseys will be worn by players with the Toledo Mud Hens minor league baseball team for two games over the weekend.
The Hens, an AAA team affiliated with the Detroit Tigers, are wearing the jerseys as part of its “Star Wars” events over the weekend, titled “May the Fourth Be With You” gam on May 4, and its “Revenge of the Fifth” game on May 5.
There will also be appearances from Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Storm Troopers, and X-Wing Pilots, according to a release from the team on its website.
Facepainting, photo-booth opportunities, a fireworks show, and food items including Yoda Soda and Darth Chocolate Brownie Sunday will also be included.
And finally, there will be a handout of 3,000 kazoos for a postgame performance of “Star Wars” music.
