General Motors has parted ways with Chevrolet’s longtime advertising agency, the Warren, Mich.-based Campbell-Ewald, after more than 90 years of working together.
Campbell-Ewald brought to market the Like a Rock advertising campaign that signified Chevrolet Silverado line of pickup trucks. GM will switch the Chevrolet account to Publicis Worldwide, a division of French advertising conglomerate Publicis Groupe S.A. GM did not give a reason for the switch.
Campbell-Ewald is a part of the Interpublic Group of Companies, an advertising group that competes with Publicis.
