NEW YORK—The holidays are all about giving, and BedBug Central has a special holiday gift in the works. With their nationwide charitable program Taking the Bite Out of the Holidays, they are teaming up with different pest control companies across the country to give back to the community.

Together they will provide bed bug treatments for those who are suffering from bed bugs, but don’t have enough money to deal with them.

The event was created by Jeffrey White, research entomologist, who started to become concerned with how the cost of bed bug treatments was rising. “Ultimately, an individual’s money should be spent on creating a happier holiday season, not dealing with the frustration of bed bugs,” White said in a press release.

BedBug Central is now accepting applications for candidates in need of bed bug assistance. The recipients will be announced at the end of November, and the applications can be sent to www.bedbugcentral.com/holidays, or made through calling 609-799-1300.
