A bus crash in Blythe, located in Southern California, killed at least four people on Tuesday, according to preliminary reports.

Nearly two-dozen other people were injured in the incident, BNO Wire reported.

The bus and several other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Terri Kasinga, a spokesperson for the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), said that a semi truck on Interstate 10 jacknifed at around 2 a.m. and caused steel pipes to fall out on the road.

Four vehicles and a tour bus hit the pipes. The bus hit one of the pipes “in the number one lane and it turned over,” Kasinga told BNO.
