“Boy Meets World” rings were posted on Twitter recently as original cast members are in production for a reboot, “Girl Meets World.”
“Boy Meets World” stars Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage, who are reprising their roles as Cory and Topanga in a new show called “Girl Meets World,” posted their characters’ wedding rings on Twitter recently.
The show reunited the two characters, who are now married with a 13-year-old child named Riley. The show will focus primarily on Riley, who is played by Rowan Blanchard, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
On Fishel’s Twitter account, the photo was accompanied by the text: “Cory and Topanga… together again.”
Regarding original “Boy Meets World” cast members, “whoever wants to be part of this show will be and whoever wants to move on will,” the show’s executive producer, Michael Jacobs, told the Reporter. “The most important thing is to see what the show is and then see what their part in it will be.”
Many of the original cast members have joined the new show, including William Daniels, who played Mr. Feeny, according to the Reporter.
E! Online reported that the cast began production last week the pilot episode for the reboot, which will appear on the Disney Channel.
