Billy Ray Cyrus and his son Trace are slated to appear in a SyFy reality TV show that the network is in the process of developing, reports say.
The show will be called “UFO: Unbelievably Freakin' Obvious,” which will document Cyrus and his son’s cross-country investigations into conspiracy theories, according to Variety.
“The existence of paranormal phenomena is something I’ve always wanted to explore further,” Cyrus told Variety.
The pilot for the show will be shot in the next several weeks.
“Getting the opportunity to take this adventure with my son, who has always had a keen interest in this area, is a dream come true,” the 49-year-old country singer said. “I hope this series can shine a light on some of the activities we have questioned, and the mysteries that have long inspired us.”
Cyrus is best-known for his song “Achy Breaky Heart” released in 1992, which propelled him to international fame. He has been involved in reality TV before, making an appearance on “Dancing With the Stars” and hosting “Nashville Star.”
