One person is dead after a shooting at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, according to reporters.
The person was shot at the hospital in Texas Medical Center in the outpatient pharmacy, the Houston Police Department told KHOU.
There are reports that another person was shot as well.
Multiple police cars, in addition to a fire truck and ambulance, have responded.
The first call about the gunshots came in just after 2:15 p.m., Houston Police Department spokesman Victor Senties told the Houston Chronicle.
The scene is confined to the pharmacy area.
There are no suspects at this time and there is no active search for suspects, he added.
