Barry Switzer, former Dallas Cowboys coach and Oklahoma Sooners coach, rescued a dog and found a new home for it.

Switzer saw a Rottweiler puppy locked in a car when he was walking into a store, and waited for the owner to come out to the car. He convinced the owner to let him buy the dog, then he took her to the vet, according to KJRH

“I told the doc I want rabies shots, check for worms, everything,” Switzer said.  “They even clipped the toenails so it was a pedicure for her.  She went to the spa.”

The dog, “Sassy” will be given to a couple who lost their home in the tornado in Moore, Oklahoma several months ago.
