Avalanna Routh, a girl who died to cancer when she was only 6 years old and was a fan of Justin Bieber, was remembered on Friday.
She died two years ago.
On Twitter, Bieber made mention of her. “We will never forget out mrs Bieber. Love you @Avalanna. Thank you for being a part of my life. I miss you. #2YearsWeMissYouAvalanna,” he wrote.
The term “#2YearsWeMissYouAvalanna” trended widely on Twitter.
“In the end Avalana will always be a big part of our lives & she will always remain as a hero to many #2YearsAvalannaWeMissYou,” one person wrote on the social media network.
Said another, “The impact Avalanna had on so many people is incredible. She was really something else. #2YearsAvalannaWeMissYou.”
“Justin’s tweet about Avalanna makes my heart hurt tbh )): We all miss you sweet beautiful angel. #2YearsAvalannaWeMissYou,” added another.
Wrote another: “I still can’t believe she’s gone. I swear it still hurts so much. #2YearsAvalannaWeMissYou.”
Said another, “Avalanna you are in our hearts. Always..”
“It’s been two years since this little angel passed away we miss you so much,” added another.
Two years ago, Routh’s parents wrote: “Our darling Avalanna went to Heaven this morning. Oh Avalanna, the brightest star -- you took our hearts with you, our greatest Love.”
“She was one of the most vivacious, outgoing, engaging, precocious kids I’ve ever known,” said Dr. Charles Roberts told the Los Angeles Times at the time.
