Autistic Boy Goes Missing in Brooklyn

NEW YORK—Eliceo Cortez, 14-year-old autistic boy from Ditmas Park, Brooklyn went missing Friday afternoon.

He didn’t board his school bus from Leonard M. Goldstein High School in Manhattan Beach and instead was last spotted on a Q train in Sheepshead Bay.

“I’m scared,” his mother, Nancy Reavis, told Daily News. “I know he is terrified. He has never been alone like this.”

Cortez is Hispanic, 6-foot-1, 135 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black Converse high-top sneakers.
