Carver High School was on lockdown after pit bulldogs attacked two students on Monday, but the lockdown has since been lifted.
The attack happened on the school’s football field, reported WSB-TV.
The students were being treated after the attack. One, a female student, was taken to Grady Hospital.
There’s no impact on dismissal, said the Atlanta Public Schools system.
Animal control has secured the Carver campus, as well as the campus of Slater Elementary School, where roaming dogs prompted a lockdown earlier.
