“Assassin’s Creed: Unity” and “Comet”--collectively and unofficially called “Assassin’s Creed V”--will be released in two parts. One report is saying that “Unity” could come out in early November.
Reports are indicating that “Unity” will come out PS4 and Xbox One and “Comet” will be exclusive for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed “Comet.”
The Huffington Post said that the fifth installment could be coming out November 4
“Rumours suggest that an official guide to the game will be released on November 4, written from the perspective of the employees of Abstergo - the fictional company at the heart of the game’s current-day story,” the Post writes. “The Abstergo Industries Employee Handbook is said to be listed for release on 4 November, suggesting that the game itself will be released around that date.”
Other reports have indicated that the games could come out in late November or in December 2014.
According to The Escapist magazine, creator Ubisoft has two demos that it will show at the E3 convention in June. “Unity” also will include a “narrative” co-op mode for as many as four players, Digital Trends is reporting.
“Ubisoft does not comment on rumors or speculation,” the company said a few days ago about the co-op mode, said Digital Trends.
“Unity” will be set in 18th century France around the time of the French Revolution and it will be available on the PC as well, Gamespot reported.
The websie said that “Comet” will possibly link “Assassin’s Creed IV” and “Unity,” and will feature a Knights Templar member sailing around the North American coast and New York.
“Assassin’s Creed Comet will reportedly be set in North America and have you play as a Templar named Shay. Of course, the Templars have traditionally served as the main antagonist group for the entire Assassin’s Creed series, so this would be a major shift in design,” Gamespot writes.
