Apple Inc.’s latest iteration of its popular iPhone went on sale June 24 in the United States, Japan, Germany, France, and the U.K. In New York, crowds lined up and wrapped around the block as early as 6 a.m. in front of the company’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue.
The new iPhone, which Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced earlier this month, sports a high-resolution display, 5-megapixel camera, a new iOS4, and comes in 16GB and 32GB versions retailing for $199 and $299, respectively.
The phone is only available in the United States through AT&T Wireless.
