The Associated Press projected President Donald Trump as the winner of the presidential election in Iowa, and former Vice President Joe Biden as the victor in Minnesota.
Iowa and Minnesota were among several states watched closely as key stepping stones toward victory by either candidate. The electoral map was still wide open when AP called the two states.
