The Week 9 AP College Football poll was released on Sunday, revealing the impact of the huge upsets which took place the day prior. LSU and Alabama remained in the top two spots, but the losses by previous No. 3 Oklahoma and No. 4 Wisconsin sent the dominoes falling behind them.

Oklahoma fell to No. 11 after losing to unranked and four-touchdown underdog Texas Tech 38-41. In-state rival Oklahoma Sate took the No. 3 spot after moving to 7-0.

Wisconsin fell to No. 12 after a tough 31-37 loss to No. 16 Michigan State. The Spartan victory pushed their record to 6-1, including being undefeated in the Big Ten, and are now ranked in the No. 9 spot.

Stanford, which embarrassed No. 25 Washington with a 65-21 thumping, moved into the No. 4 spot.

Boise State (5), Clemson (6) and Kansas State (10) all remained undefeated and in the top ten. Houston (18) is the only undefeated school outside of the top 10, but playing in a weaker Conference USA leaves them little hope for a shot at the National Title.

LSU and Alabama will face off in a battle for the top spot November 5 at Bryant-Denny Stadium to decide not only the top spot in the SEC West, but also the polls.
