Anna Netrebko Astounds During Sochi Olympics Opening Ceremony

Anna Netrebko, the Russian opera singer, sang the Olympic Hymn during the Opening Ceremony on Friday in Sochi.

Many people on Twitter remarked that it was well-done.

“Anna! Anna! Anna! That was the highlight for me, Anna Netrebko singing,” wrote one. 

Added another, “Anna Netrebko was astonishingly good. Well done!!!.” 

“Olympic anthem sung by opera legend Anna Netrebko. Does not disappoint,” wrote one.
