Amy Schumer ‘Apologizes’ to Tampa Trump Supporters

|Updated:

Amy Schumer used her Madison Square Garden show to offer a faux mea culpa for offending Donald Trump supporters in Tampa, Florida.

Schumer took a “break” from providing laughs to sarcastically apologize to the reported 200 audience members who walked out of her Oct. 16 show after she ridiculed the Republican presidential nominee.

“Dearest Tampa: I’m sorry you didn’t want me, a comedian who talks about what she believes in, to mention the biggest thing going on in our country right now,” she read from an open letter on Oct. 18.
