An AMBER Alert for a six-week-old baby was issued on Wednesday in Virginia.

Police in Virginia said that Liz Khatun, the baby, was allegedly abducted by 31-year-old Flora Khatun. The girl is 1-foot-7-inches tall and weighs 9 pounds. She has brown eyes and short hair.

The baby was last seen on the 7600 block of Little Rive Turnpike in Annandale on Monday, police said. The AMBER Alert was sent out Wednesday after detectives obtained a “parental abduction warrant” for Flora Khatun, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The Virginia State Police activated the alert, saying the child is “believed to be in extreme danger.”

Police said an investigation determined Child Protection Services had a court order to remove the baby “from a local home,” but CPS staff couldn’t find the mother and called the police.

The alleged abductor, Flora Khatun, is 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black yoga pants.

They might be traveling in a 2011 blue Toyota Sienna with Virginia license plate XJG-1035.

People with information in the case should call the Fairfax County Police Department at 703-246-7800 or the Virginia State Police at 1-800-822-4453.
