Alisan Porter, the little girl from Worcester, Mass., who charmed audiences as Curly Sue 25 years ago, now has a new career in front of her---she just won “The Voice.”

The 34-year-old mom of two repeatedly won the audience over, and landed the top spot on May 24, after all voting ended.

During her final round on May 23, she performed her original song “Down That Road,” a cover of “Somewhere” by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim from “West Side Story,” and a duet with her coach, Christina Aguilera, of “You’ve Got A Friend” by Carole King.

“YOU. GUYS. I WON THE VOICE!!!!!!!!!! thank you from the deepest part of my heart. Everyone who voted and supported me!!!!!!” she Tweeted on Wednesday morning.

It was also a special win for Aguilera, who became the first female coach on the NBC show to produce a winner.

“So proud of @alisanporter! Tonight is a win for all of us women. Thank you to all who voted for her,” she Tweeted after the announcement.

Adam Wakefield finished second with finale performances of original song “Lonesome, Broken and Blue,” cover of “When I Call Your Name” by Vince Gill, and a duet with Blake Shelton of “The Conversation” by Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings.

Third was Hannah Huston with original “I Call The Shots,” cover of “Every Breath You Take” by The Police, and a duet with Pharrell Williams of his “Brand New.”

Laith Al-Saadi finished fourth with original “Morning Light,” cover of “White Room” by Cream, and a duet with Adam Levine of medley of “Golden Slumber,” “Carry That Weight,” and “The End” by The Beatles.

Back to Alisan Porter—she said she’s moving on from her childhood acting career and wants to make “as much music as humanly possible,” according to People.com.

“Wildest dreams DO come true! Follow your heart. Never give up. NEVER let anyone tell you you can’t. You CAN,” she wrote in an Instagram post on early May 25 morning.
