Del Rio is frustrated over going from a top star on the SmackDown brand to someone who is portrayed as being fed to Batista, according to Lords of Pain, which cites subscription website PWInsider.
Del Rio has been discussing being old (he’s 36), as well as the fact that he had success in Mexico.
He’s wondering whether it’s time for him to leave rather than keep fighting.
League officials have expressed a desire to renew Del Rio’s contact after the discussion at Monday’s RAW. It’s unclear when exactly the contract expires.
