Abigail Bott, a student at Indiana University, was found dead in her dorm in the McNutt Quad on Monday.
Bott was pronounced dead at about 2:30 p.m., reported ABC.
The preliminary cause of death is not known.
An investigation is expected to take four to six weeks.
There’s no sign of trauma or foul play, officials said.
