A Pennsylvania man called 911 to report that he had proof of Bigfoot.
“[An individual] called 911 advising that he contacted the Game Commission to call him back; wants a police officer to come to his residence. Apparently he has proof there of Bigfoot,” a dispatcher says in part of a transcript from a police recording obtained by Discovery News.
In the transcript, the officer then replies “Bigfoot, right?”
The other person then says “that’s affirmative, he has evidence, uh … proving Bigfoot. He would like a police officer to come there.”
“Apparently there’s a large amount of smoke in that area,” the officer adds.
Discovery reported that rumors circulated over whether a hunter shot and killed Bigfoot, while a manlike creature was “confirmed” shot and killed in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
However, police later investigated and said there was no Bigfoot, no tracks, no hunter, and only found mother bear tracks.
The man who made the call to police was John Winesickle, reported WeAreCentralPA.com. Winesickle only showed officers the tracks.
“A bear can’t go down a steep bank on all twos,” he told the website. “This is Bigfoot.”
He added that he also apparently heard a noise from the bipedal creature.
“The voice is so deep,” he said. “I’ve heard bass singers on television and they can’t even come close to the bass sound it made to me.”
