Actor Curtis Jackson, better known as by his stage title 50 Cent, was late for the red carpet premiere of the 2010 New York International Latino Film Festival because of traffic blockage caused by President Obama’s motorcade.
After finally arriving, the rapper told reporters, “It’s interesting ... We had to go all the way around to get here, but he’s the president.”
But he seemed to be satisfied overall with the showing of his new film ‘Gun’.
“Screening of Gun was hot! Can’t wait for yall to see it,” he wrote on his twitter account.
Numerous hit songs, such as ‘In Da Club’ appear to have not been enough for the rapper who wrote the screenplay of ‘Gun’ himself.
Gun is an action movie of crime and suspense. Jackson plays the charismatic Rich, a gun runner, who draws distance from his lover (Anne Lynn McCord) after reconnecting with ex-friend Angel (Val Kilmer), according to the official website of the film festival.
