23 cars have already signed up for the American Le Mans Series Winter test at, Feb. 8–9 at Sebring International Raceway. The Winter Test gives teams their first chances to test modifications made over the off-season in preparation for the season opener, The Sebring 12 Hours on March 17.

GT champions BMW Motorsport will be back with a pair of M3s, LMPC champs Core Autosport will be testing two Oreca FLM-9s, and LMP2 winner Level 5 will be debuting two HPD ARX-03bs. WEC’s Pecom racing will bring its Nissan-powered Oreca 03 P2 for Soheil Ayari and ex-Ferrari pilot Pierre Kaffer.

Muscle Milk Pickett Racing will bring its brand new Honda Performance Development HPD ARX-03a, the lone LMP1 on the list so far.

GT class stalwarts Corvette Racing, Extreme Speed, Falken, and Flying Lizard will attend, along with WEC competitor Krohn Racing. This will be new Corvette driver Jordan Taylor’s firs public test in the C6 ZR1.

Dempsey Racing will be testing its new LMPC Oreca. The team, after several successful seasons in Grand Am’s GT class, has graduated to an ALMS prototype for drivers Henri Ricard and 2011 pPetit Le Mans GTC winner Duncan Ende.

In GTC, TRG and Green Hornet Racing will be back to test at Sebring. Spencer Pumpelly will be driving for TRG fresh off his second-place finish in the Rolex 24. Damien Failkner and Pierre LeSaffre will be back behind the wheel of the Green Hornet entry.

Tickets for the Winter test are available at the gate for $10 per day.
