An 18-year-old sports car was discovered in what appears to be mint condition behind the walls inside a barn.

A 2001 Acura Integra Type R, which is becoming a sought-after vehicle on the collector’s market, was found in Canada, Fox News reported.

The Drive described the model as “rare,” adding that the one in question is “in near-pristine condition, minus a single noticeable scratch in the finish.”

The owner reportedly sealed it behind a wall for about a decade “because he didn’t want any person to see or play” with the vehicle, according to the Fox report.

According to The Drive, the Canadian owner’s Type R is one of 250 models sold in 2001 with that shade of white.

It is also “equipped with an ultra-rare set of red seats,” and the owner said he was offered nearly $6,000 for the seats alone, the website said.

The vehicle is currently on sale on eBay for $39,999.99 in Canadian dollars or around US$29,910.99.

“Almost impossible to find a nicer car. It sounds and drives amazing,” the owner added.

The owner also said he’s not interested in taking it apart and selling the parts.

According to the listing, much of the car is original.

“The past owners certainly took care of the vehicle, and it is a genuinely rare example of Acura’s flagship attainable sports car. But is the car worth nearly $30,000? Maybe, but that’s for the buyer to decide,” The Drive added.

Huracan Spotted in a Ditch

Another rare but more expensive car was recently spotted in a ditch.

A purple Lamborghini Huracan, worth about $350,000, was photographed in the unusual location last month.

The car was located a short distance from Tottenham Hotspur’s training ground in Enfield, England, reported the Daily Mail on March 1.

It reported that the Huracan is owned by Michael Hudson, who owns cryptocurrency firm Bitstocks.

He joked: “It’ll buff out. In all seriousness, this is the best approach. As long as you’re healthy, your safe, this is just metal, very nice metal, but ultimately this is just metal,” according to the Entertainment Gazette.

He reportedly contacted celebrity car customizer Yianni Charalambous after his car crashed.

“Well we had an eventful morning, this guy is an absolute legend!” he said, reported the Mail. “Nothing but love and respect for you brother, thank you for the help.”

Hudson then wrote that he appreciates “all those that called and messaged.”

Photographs of the expensive car abandoned in the ditch soon went viral on social media.
