Reports on Sunday say there was a death in a parking lot at Arrowhead Stadium after the Denver Broncos-Kansas City Chiefs game.

The Associated Press reported that a homicide took place in Parking Lot A during an altercation.

Three people are in custody but a police spokesperson said that no arrests were made. The name of the victim and the suspects were not released.

“Detectives investigating a homicide at Arrowhead Stadium ... Will update as info becomes available,” Kansas City police Chief Darryl Forte wrote on Twitter.

KCTV reported there was a struggle in the parking lot and a man was rushed to a hospital where he died.

Police sources told the station that a man and his son went to their car when they noticed a man going through their vehicle, leading to a fight. The man who was going through the vehicle apparently died.

The victim was described as a man in his 20s, who was found unconscious on the pavement.

The death took place exactly one year after Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher killed the mother of his child and then killed himself in front of his team.

The Broncos beat the Chiefs 35-28.
