Raymond Felton’s wife Ariane Raymondo Felton says that the New York Knicks guard pointed a huge, armor-piercing pistol at her during an argument.

Raymond was arrested early Tuesday morning for gun possession.

Ariane brought the gun, the made-in-Belgium FNH Five-Seven 28 mm, to the 20th Precinct in Manhattan, and Raymond later turned himself in.

“The wife is saying they had four verbal altercations since July last year. On the last one, he pointed a gun at her. It’s an armor-piercing gun, loaded. It’s a bad ass gun,” a law enforcement source told the New York Post.

Another source said that the gun had an illegal 20-shot clip that was fully loaded.

Ariene told Raymond to remove the gun from the house but he refused. He had tried to give it to his divorce lawyer, Michael Stutman, but Stutman wouldn’t take it.

“I don’t think anybody is allowed to posses an unregistered, unlicensed firearm in the city of New York so certainly anyone who offers one to me will be told politely but firmly no thank you,” Stutman said.

Ariene filed for divorce last week, surprising both Raymond and Stutman.

Raymond was charged with second, third, and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Ariene is currently a student at Fordham University’s School of Law after graduating from Cornell University, reported the NY Daily News.

The couple was married on July 28, 2012.
