Argument in Bayview Leads to Woman Striking Pair With Vehicle

An argument in San Francisco’s Bayview District on August 29 afternoon led to a woman allegedly striking two people with her vehicle, according to police.

The 61-year-old woman was arrested following the attack reported at 3:44 p.m. in the 1300 block of Egbert Avenue.

During the argument with the two victims, a 41-year-old woman and 58-year-old man, the suspect claimed she was threatened and struck the pair with her vehicle, police said.

She fled but was eventually arrested. Police have not released the woman’s name.

The two victims were taken to a hospital with injuries considered life-threatening. An update on their condition was not immediately available on the morning of Aug. 30.
