Anthony Davis was injured on Wednesday during the New Orleans Pelicans game against the Denver Nuggets.
Update: Davis returned to the game in the fourth quarter.

Davis landed awkwardly on a jump late in the third quarter during the game, which is at home. He was helped off the court.
“I’m not sure, the way he got up, if he would have been able to walk under his own power at all,” said one of the Altitude Sports announcers.
The Pelicans official Twitter account said that they would have an update soon.
“It didn’t look good. Looks like right knee,” noted Michael Gallagher of NBC.
The Pelicans are on a nice win streak and just games within the final playoff spot. But without Davis it’s safe to say the Pelicans would not be making the playoffs.
Many immediately expressed concern with Davis, who has become one of the best players in the league this season.

“Anthony Davis appears to be hurt badly. Hope the kid’s OK. What a show he puts on,” said yet another.
