NEW YORK—The annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is a two-day extravaganza of all dog breeds imagined, from groomed, toy-sized pooches to agile hounds. Always taking place at the Madison Square Garden, the show has been around since 1877. The Club is the nation’s oldest organization dedicated to the sport of purebred dogs, and recognizes about 170 varieties of purebreds. Up until 2011, some 301,650 dogs competed in the show. This year’s show can be streamed live at westminsterkennelclub.org and will be showing on Monday night on USA from 8pm to 11pm.
