Anne Curtis avoided a direct question about how rich she is that was asked during her guest appearance on “Quino & Abunda Tonight” this week.
Her new television series “Dyesebel” just premiered on ABS-CBN, where she co-hosts “It’s Showtime.”
While Curtis wouldn’t answer the question directly, she said that she is stingy and saves 80 to 90 percent of her earnings.
“I work hard, I save,” she said, reported ABS-CBN.
Curtis, 29, has a career spanning 17 years, and regularly stars in movies and television shows. She’s also a successful recording artist, and a top endorser of products.
She did reveal that she has a target each year for earnings, and is only generous with money after she reaches that target. She also said taht a pair of earrings, her house, and her car are the most expensive things she has bought for herself.
Despite Curtis not revealing her entire net worth, she was not on the top 40 richest Filipinos list in 2012 from Forbes, meaning that she made less than $105 million (P4.7 billion).
She was pegged at 50th on the Philippines’ top individual taxpayers list that year by the Bureau of Internal Revenue, paying P19.16 million in taxes.
