Angie Everhart cancer: The actress and former model will undergo surgery on May 14.
“Word has been trickling out about supermodel/actress Angie Everhart’s health,“ a representative of Everhart told Extra. ”She wants to set the record straight by letting everyone know that it is true that she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, however, the prognosis is very good.”
Everhart expects to be back at work in a few weeks.
“The most important reason she is revealing this information is to encourage people to learn about cancer prevention, its signs and treatment immediately,” the representative added, and said Everhart wants to thank everyone who has expressed their support.
Everhart’s film and television credits include many television movies and 2011’s “Take Me Home Tonight.”
