Recently numerous media reported on an Iranian Instagrammer who allegedly underwent 50 plastic surgeries to look like Angelina Jolie but botched the job and resembles a “zombie.”

Mocked as “Corpse Bride” and “zombie” by fans and press alike, Sahar Tabar, a social media personality from Teheran, Iran, fired back at critics in a Nov. 28 post.

“You and your family will pay,” said Sahar Tabar on her official Instagram channel sahartabar_official, “pay for it by being judged and accused and very soon.”

The social media phenom also denounced biased foreign media coverage.

“Foreign sites and channels were very biased in the way they talked about my photos,” said Tabar, who also appeared to set the record straight on whether the look she creates is through surgery, or makeup and Photoshop.

“I thought these people are probably living in the 18th century,” said Tabar,  and “they haven’t seen or heard of technology or makeup.”

Tabar also set the record straight on the number of plastic surgeries. Posting in Farsi she said:

“I must say I’ve only had one, not 50 surgeries.”

A full English translation of her post:

“Hello relatively dear followers, the picture that you’re scrutinizing, even though I didn’t like it, I kept it in … I must say I only had ONE surgery, not 50 surgeries, and foreign sites and channels were very biased in the way they talked about my photos. I thought these people are probably living in the 18th century and they haven’t seen or heard of technology or makeup and they are really surprised.

What has been said on some pages about me and my family is a sign of jealousy and is spreading rumors. My dear friends, you keep casually accusing others and mercilessly judge others. Without a doubt on your path of life you and your family will pay for it by being judged and accused and very soon. The name of Sahar Tabar, unlike what you think, will become known in the world [in a good way] and many will regret saying things without thinking. Please respect my taste and don’t forget who you are.”

The Epoch Times previously reported that Tabar had taken body modification to a staggering extreme.
The Epoch Times reported that Belgian media Sud Info reported that Tabar has allegedly undergone 50 procedures to look like her idol, but that some fans said Tabar’s extreme look is all makeup and clever prosthetics and her natural look is considerably more toned.
We also pointed out that Tabar’s official Instagram account is packed with photos that challenge onlookers with extreme Angelina-esque features.
But The Epoch Times also aimed to portray the ’real' Sahar Tabar behind all the characterization, and referred readers to her other Instagram profiles for another perspective.
An early photograph that she posted of herself is this pre-surgery selfie featuring her in a traditional hijab.

Here she is without the traditional adornment.

The Tehran teen’s foray into cosmetic surgery begins–with a single nose job.

Here’s post-op Tabar recovering from a rhinoplasty procedure.

Tabar has shared numerous selfies on social media, many of which have sparked controversy and debate among her followers.

“You were gorgeous!” stated one comment.

“You are pretty! Stay this way,” said another follower.

“You was [sic] a very beautiful girl ... and now you look horrible,” said a third.

Many of Tabar’s followers are calling on her to tone down her look, saying her current, extreme look resembles a “zombie.”

But Tabar can tone it down, as this post shows.

As comments on the photo below suggest, many of her fans like Tabar’s original look best.

“She was so beautiful before,” reads one.

“Stunning... Gorgeous,” says another.
