Mexican actress Angélica Vale, perhaps best known for “La Fea Más Bella” and a long-time fan of George Clooney, received good news from her friend Juan Manuel Navarro.
Navarro, a reporter, had pulled out a photo of Vale and showed it to Clooney at a press event for “The Monuments Men.” Clooney saw the photo and called Vale a “beautiful woman.
Navarro recently went back to Mexico to get Vale’s reaction.
“I laughed a lot and now that I have the video, every time I wake up I watch it,” Vale told him. “If George Clooney says I’m a ‘beautiful woman’ everything else doesn’t matter. I knew that Clooney was going to like me but the problem is that he is too late.”
Vale was referring to being married to Otto Padrón, a television executive.
“We have a beautiful relationship and since we met I told him that my platonic love was George Clooney,” Vale said. “He told me that his platonic love was Catherine Zeta-Jones.”
Vale said that she would probably be speechless if she ever met Clooney.
