The Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is still being rolled out for more users across different devices.

The OS update was released about a week ago--unexpectedly--just a few days after the Android 4.4.3 patch came out. The 4.4.3 update was first implemented on the Google Nexus 7, Nexus 10, Nexus 5, and Nexus 4.

The Moto X, Moto G, and Moto E also received the update, said GottabeMobile.com.

The website said Google is trying to send out the Moto G Google Play Edition Android 4.4.4 KitKat update.

The Android Geeks blog said the 4.4.4 update will roll out sometime later in July or in August for the HTC One M7 and the HTC One M8.

However, the Google Play editions of the phones have already been updated to 4.4.4 KitKat.

A leak of the HTC roadmap was published by insider LlabTooFeR.

The blog says, “A lot of time have passed since last post about HTC Software Updates and I’m ready to share some latest info with you. First of all, I decided to delete old devices like One X, Butterfly (1st gen) and etc, as they won’t get any further support. So only actual HTC will be mentioned in this list.”

It adds: “There is unclear situation with 4.4.3/4.4.4 updates. GPE versions of M8 and M7 already got both updates. But Sense versions are still waiting, we saw some 4.4.3 leaked builds for both devices, but 4.4.4 changes are so minor, so it will be easy to integrate them. Anyway soon we will see what HTC decide to do.”

And for the Android L, the 2013 and 2014 devices should get it, the blog said.
