The Android 4.4.3 KitKat update that’s coming for the Google Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10 could possibly see another delay, according to a report this week.
It was reported last week that the update could come May 23, which is on Friday, but another report says it appears unlikely.
The website Android Geeks said it is “very confident now that Google is working on the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update, which should come with a lot of bug fixes,” and it has information about a changelog.
Android Geeks did not offer any details as to why the upgrade is being delayed. It also did not provide a source for its information.
However, the software update was spotted on an AOSP changelog within a video about the new Motorola Moto E phone. The log had the name “KK-MR2_changelist.txt,” but it was later deleted.
Rumors about Android 4.4.3 came out first on the website Myce, which referred to the build number KTU65.
A number of people have complained about the current version, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, saying it has a bevy of bugs.
Google has not confirmed when it will roll out the Android update.
