Filipino musician David Sicam, visual artist Gerard Baja, Dutch national Anna Van Deven, and Canadian Alex Laring were identified as victims killed in the bus crash that also killed comedian Arvin “Tado” Jimenez on Friday.

The Florida Trans bus fell into a ravine in Sitio Pagang, Barangay Talubin, at around 7 a.m., it was reported. The bus was leaving from Manila, Inter Akyson and GMA reported.

In all, 14 people died and 23 were critically wounded in the accident.

David Sicam was a musician in the band Kinaiya, GMA said.

“He was the glue who held our band together and kept everyone’s egos in check,” said musician Diwa de Leon of Sicam. “He was a humble person whose priorities were family, friends, and music. But he also found time to go on adventures in the mountains.”

Gerard Baja was a visual artist.

Marcial Bernard Jr., Natividad Ngawa, and Ana Alaba were identified as those who were also killed, The Philippine Star reported.

Supt. Ramir Saculles, the Mountain Province deputy police director, told the Star that most of the recovered bodies were mutilated due to the impact of the crash.

Saculles said there’s a possibility that the driver of the bus fell asleep at the wheel. He also mentioned that there may have been mechanical problems with the bus.

The driver, Alexander Longadey, is also undergoing treatment, the Inquirer reported.
