Amtrak’s MARC Penn Line was halted on Monday night after a train derailment south of Baltimore. The train is stuck in the B&P Tunnel.

MARC is attempting to send buses to the west Baltimore and BWI stations, it said in an alert.

Also, the Washington Metro is honoring MARC tickets, and light rail is honoring MARC tickets from BWI.

The train broke down in the Baltimore and Potomac Tunnel, the Baltimore Sun reported.

The front wheels of the train’s locomotive went off the tracks, reported Colin Campbell of the Sun. The train is upright and no passengers have been injured.
