America’s Got Talent 2014 Results: Acro Army, Emil and Dariel, Mat Franco Advance on AGT 2014; Baila Conmigo, Jaycob Curlee, Kelli Glover Eliminated

The second America’s Got Talent semifinal is underway on September 3 and some early eliminations and advancements have been revealed.

The first result had acrobatic group Acro Army move through while Latin dance troupe Baila Conmigo was sent home.

The second had cellists Emil and Dariel go through while singer Kelli Glover and and comedian Wendy Liebman were eliminated.

The third round had Mat Franco move through and Jonah Smith eliminated.

The fourth round had Quintavious Johnson move through and Jaycob Curlee was eliminated.

Meanwhile, hand balancer Christian Stoinev, shadow dancing act Blue Journey, and magician Smoothini were tabbed for Snapple Save, and Stoinev and Blue Journey ended up making it through.

Maroon 5 opened the semifinals Week 2 with a performance of the song Maps, which pleased fans.

“Adam Levine= Eye Candy. Thank you @nbcagt #AGT,” said one Twitter user.

“#AGT just opened with @maroon5 singing #Maps. My night is so complete,” added another.

Other guests during the finale include Beyonce, Carley Rae Jepson, and The Willis Clan.

Last week saw Mike Super, Sons of Serendip, Miguel Dakota, Emily West, Mara Justine, and David and Leeman make it into the Top 12.

Flight Crew Jump Rope, Bad Boys of Ballet, Andrey Moraru, Paul Leti, and Dan Naturman were eliminated.

Aerial Animation was on the wrong end of the Snapple Save, while the votes got David and Leeman and Mara Justine through to the next round.

The Top 12 will compete next Tuesday, September 9 and the results will come in on September 10. The season 9 finale is then set for September 16 and September 17.
