CKX Inc., the media company that owns “American Idol,” is currently in sales talks to sell the company. No details have been released regarding the buyer.
Earlier this week, the Wall Street Journal said that CKX is close to finalizing a deal with One Equity Partners, a private equity company, for $6 a share.
CKX also owns entertainment content for Elvis Presley and Muhammad Ali.
