Will there be more American Idol auditions for the upcoming season 13?
That’s not totally clear.
The new team of judges–Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry Connick Jr.–started vetting candidates for the new season of the show on Sept. 5.
But the schedule for auditions on the American Idol website appears out of date, not including anything past August.
After the Boston vetting, the judges have continued on to Austin, Texas; and Salt Lake City in Utah.
Ryan Seacrest dropped a hint that the auditions could go on.
“We have found some very good people,” he said. “We have not found who we think could be the Idol yet, the winner yet, so that’s why we are here. Hopefully we find an individual that has that potential today.”
Also, the Salt Lake Tribune reported that the Salt Lake City stop on Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 was just the third stop on the Season 13 audition tour.
