An Amber Alert was activated in Oregon and Washington state for Hannah and Ethan Anderson, two Southern California children, last seen Aug. 3 in San Diego County. They are suspected to be with suspected killer James DiMaggio, who is driving a blue sedan.

James DiMaggio, 40, is suspected of killing Christina Anderson, 44, and taking one or both of her children, Hannah, 16, and Ethan, 8.
The San Diego Sheriff’s department says DiMaggio may be headed to Texas or Canada, and is likely driving a blue 2013 four-door Nissan Versa with California license plate 6WCU986.
To let the public know about what’s going on, a early morning Amber Alert was issued through text messaging for the first time in California on August 6.
