It is as if this baby received a “special visitor” when she was in her mother’s womb! While observing the ultrasound images, the baby’s mom noticed the form of a small angel on the photos—moreover, the little angel looks as though it’s playing a harp or blowing bubble kisses towards the infant.
A few years after her daughter’s birth, Kelly Lewis, from Cardiff, Wales, was showing her ultrasound image—captured in 2012—to a friend. That’s when her friend pointed out what appeared to be a small “angel” hovering over the infant in utero.

“It was when I showed my friend later that day—he pointed it out to me. From then on, everyone has been fascinated with it,” Lewis told Today Parents.
Speaking to the Mirror, the mom explained: “It looks just like an angel is leaning over my baby, with a cherub face as well hovering over the baby. It’s so clear, no one could believe their eyes when they saw it.”
“People said it looked like someone leaning over her keeping her safe. She is such a well-behaved little girl, it’s like she has been blessed,” she added.

Coincidentally, Lewis named her little baby Harper, meaning a harp player.
Talking to Today Parents, Lewis said that her little girl is a blessing for her. “Harper is a very well-behaved little girl. She has a warmhearted, caring, and helpful personality—always polite and kind, and very sweet and innocent. She also has the sweetest smile—it’s very angelic. I am truly blessed to have her.”
Lewis would like to believe an angel visited her unborn daughter on that particular day in 2012, because “it’s a nice thing to believe and a lovely thing to have.”
Another ultrasound image of a heavenly figure bending over an unborn child surfaced on the internet in 2011.
In 2011, mom Dee Lazarou went for her week-12 scan at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, England. The mom noticed the face resembling an “angel” looking over her tiny fetus in the womb when she showed the ultrasound image to her 3-year-old son, Oliver.
Lazarou was convinced that the angelic being was looking over her baby during the time she went into labor at home.
With no midwife around, her husband, Thomas, helped lay her down on the bathroom floor. Then on the phone with the paramedics, Thomas followed their instructions to deliver the baby. “So to be giving birth to my son at home was terrifying. I just had to hope and pray that he would be alright,” Lazarou said, according to MailOnline.
Finally, baby Leo came into the world. But when Thomas held the baby Leo in his arms, they saw that he had his umbilical cord dangerously wrapped around his neck. Luckily, Lazarou’s mom was able to unwrap the cord from his neck and free him.
“When we saw the face of someone in the scan picture we were stunned, but now we know that it was for a reason,” Lazarou said. “He was watching over Leo to make sure he was delivered safely. The face in the scan picture was such a comfort to us all.”
Believing the angelic being was protecting baby Leo during the remarkable birth, Lazarou put the priceless ultrasound image in a keepsake box, planning to show it to him when he grows up.
Can you spot the “angel” in these ultrasound images?
