Amanda Knox’s former boyfriend and co-defendant in the lengthy murder trial took his current girlfriend to the Italian home where the murder of student Meredith Kercher took place.

Knox and Raffaele Sollecito were both convicted earlier this year of killing Kercher in 2007, upholding a previous conviction that was followed by an overturn as the case made its way through the court system.

Sollecito, who was sentenced to 25 years, is not in jail because the case is going to be appealed.

He decided to take Greta Menegaldo, his current girlfriend, to the house that Kercher and Knox lived in, according to a photograph published in the Italian newspaper the local daily.

The couple visited the house after going shopping nearby.

A witness told La Nazione that she spotted the pair.

“To tell you the truth; I couldn’t believe it…but when I saw them up close, it was Sollecito.”

Sollecito’s father told Ansa that there “was nothing wrong” with the action.

“If Raffaele wanted to show his girlfriend the ordeal he went through, I can’t see anything wrong with that,” he said, reaffirming that his son “has absolutely nothing to do with that crime.”
